James Packer Has Got Into A Brawl With His Best Mate

Hours after the punch up, Channel Nine CEO David Gyngell told The Daily Telegraph that Mr Packer doesn’t have a glass jaw.

“Thirty-five years of fellowship doesn’t change on a couple of those — much obliged fellows,” he said outside the front of Packer’s waterfront house in Bondi before speeding off in his white Audi 4w.

Sources say Gyngell defied his previous best man in regards to his choice to leave his seven-year marriage — getting Packer off-side.

The relationship between the childhood companions is said to broken down after Packer and his second wife Erica reported their detachment six months prior.

Reports claim Gyngell, who is wedded to Channel Nine moderator Leila Mckinnon, was holding up outside the property for Packer to arrive home from the airport

Bondi resident Chris Walker was at the scene, and composed on Facebook:

“Packer puckered a punch yet copped several hits straight to the jaw … At that point they all fell on the solid wall and I think the other gentleman broke his face.”

The two media men are previous flatmates who met at Sydney’s Cranbrook School. Gyngell was best man to Packer at his wedding to Erica Baxter in 2007.

Packer is known for his searing temper. In 2008, he went up against the previous CEO of Channel Seven, David Leckie at a gathering at Sydney’s Opera House. When his part at Seven, Leckie held the same occupation at Channel Nine.

At the point when Leckie endeavored to welcome Packer at the gathering, the media investor’s “face went red and hands began to shake”, he then advised Leckie to “f *** off”, as indicated by The Daily Telegraph.

He is said to have told his previous tutor: “You need to go outside now? How about we do it.”

The tirade was said to be over Seven’s poor media scope of Packer’s gambling joint business dealings.
