Yahoo CEO Gets Whopping Bonus

Marissa Mayer, the chief executive officer of Yahoo, is receiving $1.08 million (or US$1.1 million) bonus just barely six months since she assumed her position.

The bonus is on top of Mayer’s annual salary of some US$1 million. She also received about US$56 million as long-term stock compensation when she was pirated from Google last July. This also included some US$14 million worth of stock as compensation for the money she would lost if she remained with the search engine giant.

On top of these compensations, Mayer can also receive a yearly bonus of as much as US$2 million.
